EXCLUSIVE: Range Media Partners has signed actress, comedian, and producer Rebel Wilson.
Wilson began her career on the Sydney stage in the early 2000s, where she frequently wrote and produced her own work, before breaking out in Paul Feig’s Bridesmaid and further bolstering her profile with a starring role in the Pitch Perfect films from Universal.
Most recently, Wilson co-starred in the Chris Foggin-helmed Tinsel Town for Sky Cinema, which has established itself as the UK streamer’s second-most-watched holiday film of all time. Earlier in the year, she starred in Bride Hard, alongside Anna Camp and Da’Vine Joy Randolph, as well as the musical drama Juliet & Romeo, where she portrayed Lady Capulet. Wilson’s other credits include the Academy Award-winning Jojo Rabbit from Taika Waititi, the meta rom-com Isn’t It Romantic, How to Be Single, and The Hustle with Anne Hathaway. Additionally, in 2022, she starred in the Netflix cheerleading comedy Senior Year, which was viewed by over 89 million unique Netflix accounts within its first 10 days of release worldwide.
Wilson recently wrapped filming her second directorial feature, Girl Group, in which she stars alongside Jennifer Coolidge, Nicole Scherzinger, Randall Park, and Sheridan Smith. She also wrote the script and produced the film in partnership with LiveNation Studios, co-writing several of the film’s songs with Pitch Perfect‘s Alana Da Fonseca.
Wilson’s feature directorial debut, The Deb, premiered to critical acclaim at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival and has had its released delayed by a legal dispute for some time, though it is now set to premiere in Wilson’s native Australia in April. Wilson also co-stars, produced, and co-wrote several songs on the film, which follows two teenage girls who attend a debutante ball in a small country town.
Beyond her screen work, Wilson published the bestselling memoir Rebel Rising in 2024. She continues to be repped by UTA, WME (for endorsements), Tavistock Wood in the UK, Creative Representation in Australia, and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
