‘Secret love life’

KSI has been quietly dating his non-famous partner for the past eight years, keeping it out of the public eye. The 32-year-old revealed that his girlfriend is “not part of the industry” and maintains an ordinary job.

During an appearance on the Now You Know YouTube series, KSI confessed he deliberately keeps his partner “out of the spotlight” by refusing to post photographs on social media. He said: “She grounds me. She definitely tells me sometimes if I’m doing too much; If I need to relax and I need to chill.

“But it’s good. I can talk to her about anything. And like, we’ve had our ups and downs, as all relationships do. We have like a really sick dynamic, because she doesn’t want to be in the limelight, she doesn’t want to be known, she doesn’t want to be famous or anything.

“She wants to just do her job, nine to five, and just help people. And I just think that’s sick. It’s not part of the industry that I’m in, so we can come back together after we both finish work, and then we can just talk about our lives and chill, and it’s just nice. And I can just, I’m able to just relax with her and like, it’s not work or it’s not hard, it’s just super easy.”

KSI confessed that the couple had separated at one stage, but he “begged” for them to get back together. He added: “You know, when me and my girlfriend broke up, I was like, ‘I just want to be me. I want to do whatever.’

“But then it got to point where I was like, ‘Oh, why did this relationship break down?’ She was so good to me and everything was like, I just.. I just messed it up and so I was like, I need to work on myself.

“And so that’s when I went to see a therapist… to really just zoom in on me and, like, to understand what I want, what makes me happy, what I desire, etc. And then I thought about her and what her thoughts are and what she needs and everything. And it got to the point where I was like, ‘I need her in my life.’

“So, you know, I essentially begged her to be with me, and, you know, I took a while, but eventually, you know, we got back together. And it’s literally just been amazing. But it’s a rollercoaster.”
