To wit: Speedy Claxton’s Hofstra has now dropped three straight (all close) after winning eight in a row, and while it might not be in the character of the pride to tap the brakes a bit (especially if leading scorer G Cruz Davis at 22.4 ppg is on fire), Speedy will note how W&M’s scorelines have been reducing in CAA play, contributing to recent losses vs. King Rice’s Monmouth and Zach Spiker’s Drexel when scoring only 64 ppg.
