Napoli’s injury crisis is taking its toll, as they have won just one of their last five competitive matches, including Tuesday’s 1-1 with 10-man Copenhagen in the Champions League.
It keeps getting worse, as goalkeeper Vanja Milinikovic-Savic picked up a muscular problem in training, so Alex Meret gets his first game since November, himself just recovering from a shoulder injury.
David Neres is having ankle surgery, so they signed Giovane from Verona for €20m and he is rushed straight onto the bench.

Matteo Politano, Amir Rrahmani, Pasquale Mazzocchi, Kevin De Bruyne, Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa and Billy Gilmour are also absent, while Noa Lang and Lorenzo Lucca left.
It means youth academy product Antonio Vergara starts his third game in a row with Eljif Elmas and Hojlund.
