“You still don’t know what Edon Zhegrova can do”, Jonathan David comes out in support of the Kosovo star

Juventus striker Jonathan David has backed star Edon Zhegrova, saying that the Italian team’s fans have yet to see what he can do.

Zhegrova has begun to be criticized at the “Old Lady”, while coach Luciano Spalletti is not giving her many minutes, usually playing only as a substitute or staying on the bench for the entire match.

However, David, who also had Zhegrova as a teammate at Lille, came to his defense.

“Edon Zhegrova has had many physical problems, you haven’t seen what he can do yet,” the Frenchman told “Repubblica”.

Meanwhile, David has asked for patience from fans regarding his performances, stating that he needs more time.

“I don’t regret choosing Juventus, give me a little more time. I’m adapting, Italian football is much different from French football, even at Lille I suffered at first. Then I scored 20 goals every season,” he underlined.
