Trevor Noah Pulls Double Duty at the 2025 Grammy Awards

According to the Recording Academy’s official announcement, Trevor Noah will return to host the 2026 Grammy Awards for a record-breaking sixth—and final—consecutive time. The ceremony, which takes place on February 1, 2026, marks a significant milestone as the comedian prepares to cap off what producers have called a “generational run” at the helm of music’s biggest night.
This year, Noah once again joins the rare group of emcees who are also active nominees. He is recognized in the Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording category for his work on Into the Uncut Grass. The nomination highlights Noah’s unique ability to maintain a dual presence: guiding the show as its master of ceremonies while remaining a respected creative voice within the industry.
The 68th Grammy Awards will air live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on CBS and Paramount+. The Academy has leaned on Noah’s hosting style for over half a decade, valuing his mix of sharp wit and genuine appreciation for the artists. This final appearance is expected to be a celebratory farewell for Noah, who has hosted every ceremony since 2021.
With Noah both leading the broadcast and vying for an award himself, the 2026 ceremony adds a final, notable chapter to his long-running collaboration with the Recording Academy. As the show prepares to move to a new network in 2027, Noah’s departure marks the end of a defining era for the Grammy stage.
