TikTok star Alix Earle and Tom Brady have gotten closer since New Year’s Eve.
“[Alix] and Tom have still been texting since New Year’s,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, noting Earle, 25, and Brady, 48, “briefly” met up at the College Football National Championship held in Miami on Monday, January 19. “They knew each other would be at the game, but it wasn’t a planned event together.”
While the insider pointed out that Brady was working during the college football game, he ended up seeing Earle “at one point.”
“She’s having fun right now,” the source adds. “She’s into Tom but it’s still nothing serious.”
Earle and Brady first made waves when they were spotted jointly celebrating New Year’s Eve in St. Barth’s with a star-studded group including Miles Teller, Glen Powell, Michelle Randolph and Chord Overstreet.
“Alix and Tom were together the entire night on New Year’s Eve partying at a party hosted by Palm Tree Crew in St. Barths,” a second source told Us earlier this month. “They met through mutual friends who were also in St. Barths and had an instant connection. There was a lot of chemistry between them.”
Neither Earle nor Brady have publicly addressed their relationship status, though the former NFL star briefly spoke about his “personal life” in the weeks after New Year’s Eve.
“You know what? I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working, and I love my kids,” Brady told People on January 14. “I like to be busy and try to really stay fulfilled in the things I’m doing, so I’m working on some really cool projects and I’m involved with some great teams of people that are doing some really positive things.”
Brady was married to supermodel Gisele Bündchen from 2009 to 2022, during which they welcomed two children together. (Brady also shares son Jack, 18, with ex Bridget Moynahan.)
As for Earle, she is newly single after breaking up with Houston Texans athlete Braxton Berrios in December 2025.
“Braxton and I are no longer together. We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t got to see each other that often,” Earle said in an emotional TikTok video posted last month. “It’s just been really difficult for me. I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place.”

She continued, “A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now. I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs. I want him to have someone who can be there for him 24/7 and support him. He wasn’t really expecting that of me … I constantly felt guilty.”
Earle temporarily moved to Los Angeles last fall while competing on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars. Berrios, 30, meanwhile, splits his time between Florida and Texas.
“It just kinda feels like we’re on two different paths right now and it sucks,” Earle added at the time. “We’re on good terms and I don’t want anyone to come for him or be mean to him. I think I ultimately just wanted to go with trusting my feelings. This has just been really hard. … It’s not because he did anything wrong or I did anything wrong. It just didn’t really feel like it was working out in the moment.”
