News regarding travel disruptions affecting WWE ahead of the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, WWE is facing widespread travel disruptions due to a major storm affecting the United States and Canada. With flights canceled, it was noted that talent and staff needed for RAW in Toronto have been traveling by company-rented vans, a 5–6 hour drive in good conditions, with some leaving immediately after being cleared from Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal.
Johnson noted the following….
“Talents who were not on the road for SNME but are needed for RAW had their travel re-booked to fly yesterday to try and get ahead of the weather. Others, who were not needed until Riyadh, find themselves stranded and losing their 1-2 days at home and will instead likely try to head to Toronto before heading to Riyadh. WWE usually brings talents over several days in advance to prevent any issues with the shows there. I believe talents begin heading there Tuesday and Wednesday.”
Fightful.com was told that the company “has options, backup options, and backups to the backup options” ahead of the Royal Rumble PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
