Manchester United star Amad has taken a swipe at opponents Arsenal following United’s win over the title chasers. United went into the game looking to build on the momentum gained from last weekend’s 2-0 win over Manchester City.
They, however, faced a big challenge, with an away game against Premier League leaders Arsenal. Michael Carrick’s men found themselves 1-0 down in the first half thanks to Lisandro Martinez’s own goal.
The team were able to draw level before the break when Bryan Mbeumo made it 1-1. It got even better for United after that with Patrick Dorgu turning the game around to make it 2-1 to United in the 50th minute.
In a rollercoaster match, Arsenal thought that they had rescued at least a point from the game when Mikel Merino scored in the 84th minute. But there was still a twist left with Matheus Cunha’s stunning strike, grabbing United all three points in the 87th minute.

The win prompted celebrations from United both on the pitch and in the away end, and it seems that Amad has now taken the celebrations onto social media.
Before the game, social media personality and Arsenal fan Jay took to X (formerly Twitter) to predict the outcome of the match.
He wrote: “Arsenal are winning 4-0, they just sent me the script.”
Amad has wasted no time sending him a reminder. Quoting the prediction and then adding a picture of the full-time score, he wrote: “Enjoy KID” with a winking emoji.
Jay replied with: “Buck me in ends g, don’t tweet me ever again.”
Amad had one last response, which read: “Your only hope is a corner (laughing emoji). Be humble KID (shushing emoji)”.

The result means that United retain their 100 percent win record under interim boss Michael Carrick. It also moves them up above Chelsea in the Premier League table and up into fourth place.
Arsenal, meanwhile, remain four points clear of both Manchester City and Aston Villa at the top of the table. The loss means that they failed to increase their advantage.
United are back in action next Sunday, when they host Fulham at Old Trafford (2pm kick-off). They then hist Tottenham the following week (Saturday, 7 February, 12.30pm kick-off).
