Ryan Murphy’s ‘Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette’ Sets Release Date on FX and Hulu

“Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette” — Ryan Murphy‘s upcoming series about the tragic romance between its titular historical figures — will premiere with three episodes on Feb. 12 on FX and Hulu. The nine-episode series will continue to drop one episode weekly until the finale on March 26.

Kennedy and Bessette married in 1996 and died in a 1999 plane crash. Per the official logline, the series “explores the undeniable chemistry, whirlwind courtship and high-profile marriage of one of the most iconic couples of the 20th century” and is the first installment of Ryan Murphy’s “Love Story” anthology for FX.

Kennedy will be played by Paul Anthony Kelly opposite Sarah Pidgeon as Bessette/ The series will follow their romance beginning with Kennedy’s upbringing in the public eye reputation as a bachelor as well as Bessette’s fashion career, rising from sales assistant to Calvin Klein executive. The cast also includes Grace Gummer as Caroline Kennedy, Naomi Watts as Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Alessandro Nivola as Calvin Klein, Leila George as Kelly Klein, Sydney Lemmon as Lauren Bessette and Constance Zimmer as Ann Marie Messina.

“Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette was created by Connor Hines. Executive producers include Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Hines, Eric Kovtun, Nissa Diederich, Scott Robertson, Monica Levinson, Kim Rosenstock, D.V. DeVincentis and Tanase Popa, with Max Winkler executive producing and directing the pilot episode. 20th Television is the studio.
