Kim Kardashian is keeping an eye on her daughter North West’s social media presence.

On Monday, Jan. 26, Kardashian, 45, made a surprise appearance on her 12-year-old daughter’s Instagram Live.

“Guys, I think my mom’s coming,” North, 12, said as Kardashian, 45, could be heard entering the frame of the livestream. “Why are you watching my Live?”

“I don’t want to be on camera,” Kardashian could be heard saying offscreen while laughing.

North then announced to her viewers on the platform, on which she boats two million followers, “Guys, the G.O.A.T. is here.” The acronym stands for the “greatest of all time.”

“Hey you guys … I hope someone recorded that,” replied Kardashian, adding, “She called me the G.O.A.T. I don’t know if I’ll ever get that again … Just kidding, I love you Bubs.”

“I love you, too,” North, who was sporting blue hair, responded. “You should just show your face because…”

“How long are you going to do this for?” Kardashian then asked her daughter. “Because I have to stay in the room.”

North then hilariously encouraged her reality star mom to show her face on camera so she could make “some money” from the livestream.

“What?!” Kardashian blurted out. “No, no, no. You know I don’t like this.”

The SKIMS founder then added, “I’ll just pop in every once in a while.”

“I’m ready for bed, so I’m not getting on this Live,” Kardashian said offscreen, letting her daughter know that she also has to “go to bed now.”

Kardashian recently garnered criticism for how her tween daughter chooses to dress and express herself.

During the latest episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, she spoke to her sister, host Khloé Kardashian, about her parenting style. In the conversation, she also addressed some of the criticism she’s received about allowing North to wear certain items of clothing, use fake facial piercings and tattoos, and get a dermal piercing.

“I’m just not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it,” she began. “But, I think that no one knows unless they’re in my shoes what I’m dealing with and how we have to manage certain things from the outside world or even close in our life that we have to go through together.”

The mom of four went on to share the one big misconception she believes everyone has when it comes to her relationship with her daughter North.

“I think like the one misconception that people might have is like, ‘Oh, she’s trying to be her bestie and lets her get away with a lot.’ Like, no, Northy actually has a lot of rules. [That’s the] one area I do let her express herself,” Kardashian explained. “I love her for that, and she would do it, you know, regardless.”

Along with North, Kardashian is also mom to sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 6, and daughter Chicago, 8, with her ex-husband Kanye West.
