Seattle Mariners announce broadcast team for 2026 season

Plenty of familiar faces and voices will be returning for Seattle Mariners broadcasts during the 2026 season.

The Mariners announced on Tuesday that Rick Rizzs, Aaron Goldsmith, Angie Mentink, Ryan Rowland-Smith, Jay Buhner, Dave Valle, Brad Adam and Gary Hill Jr. as members of this year’s broadcast crews for radio and TV.

Rizzs, who announced Tuesday the 2026 season will be his last in the booth, is entering his 41st season with the club. The longest-tenured broadcaster in team history will continue to be the lead play-by-play voice on Mariners radio.

Goldsmith, in his 14th season with the Mariners, will continue his role as the club’s lead voice on television broadcasts.

Mentink, who is entering her 30th season covering the club, is entering her second full season as a TV and radio analyst. She will also assist with programming for pre- and post-game shows.

Rowland-Smith, who’s also an MLB Network analyst, will continue serving as radio and TV analyst for select games while being a voice on pre- and post-game shows. Rowland-Smith pitched for the M’s from 2007-10.

Buhner, a member of the Mariners Hall of Fame who spent 14 seasons (1988-2001) of his 15-year playing career with the club, will return as a TV analyst for select games. He made his return to M’s broadcasts last season following more than a decade out of the booth.

Valle, who also does work with MLB Network, will continue his role as a television analyst for select game. Valle spent 10 seasons with the Mariners as a player (1984-93).

Adam will be a part of the Mariners’ pre- and post-game television broadcasts. Adam spent 26 seasons covering the M’s for ROOT Sports, which shuttered at the end of 2025.

Hill is entering his ninth season as executive producer and engineer of Mariners radio broadcasts. He will have expanded an play-by-play role on the radio this season as Rizzs takes a step back in his final year.

Mariners radio broadcasts will continue to air on Seattle Sports 710 AM and the Mariners Radio Network.
