Taylor Swift’s Response to Blake Lively’s Texts About Justin Baldoni

Taylor Swift is reportedly protecting her peace amid the continuation of the It Ends With Us drama. After her texts to Blake Lively were released during her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, The Life of a Showgirl singer is keeping a low profile.
One source told Us Weekly that Swift wasn’t trying to get involved with the drama and legal battle, but instead wanted to be a supportive friend, “in what she thought was a private moment,”. “It’s honestly been really hard for Taylor,” the source said. “Having her texts out there made her feel exposed and kind of violated, like, something private suddenly wasn’t hers anymore. That doesn’t sit well with her.”
The Grammy Award-winning artist is “obviously not happy” that her messages were released. Now, she reportedly believe that everything has been misconstrued.

The alleged texts showed that Lively was praising Swift after she and Baldoni were fighting while Swift and Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, were in attendance. “You were so epically heroic today,” Lively wrote. “I recapped every moment to Ryan. I kept remembering stuff — You making s*** up about me and lenses. And referring to yourself as my doll. This clown falling for all of it. But also resisting it. You are the worlds absolutely greatest friend. I won the lottery.”
Swift allegedly responded, “I WON THE LOTTERY. You are the COOLEST PERSON IN THE WORLD and you like me!!”
“Even though she was sending Blake messages and went to the apartment, she wasn’t involved in creating a master plan to take anyone down,” the second source told the publication. “She was being supportive of her friend and that is it. Just as any friend would.”
Now, it’s gotten to the point where Taylor Swift changed her number. “Taylor needed to set boundaries and protect her peace, a source told Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop SubStack. “She’s very private and doesn’t take kindly to people overstepping.”
Another source chimed in, “This wasn’t petty or dramatic — it was about reclaiming control over her life. She had to make sure her friends knew her new number so she could stay connected on her terms.”
“Taylor’s circle is very tight,” a music industry source told the journalist. “She values her personal space, and when things get messy, she shuts it down fast. Changing her number was the cleanest way to do that.”
A friend also explained that it was a “full reset” of her life. “She’s in charge of who can reach her and when — and that’s how she keeps her sanity in Hollywood.”
