Tranmere Rovers have signed midfielder James Plant from League One side Port Vale on an 18-month deal.
The 21-year-old made 49 appearances for Vale in all competitions after making his debut in 2022.
Plant has spent most of the past two seasons on loan with Yeovil Town in the National League, making 33 appearances, including 20 this season.
