Nadia Sawalha showed off her dramatic new look during the latest episode of Loose Women.

The 61-year-old star is known for her trademark curly locks but opted for the wolf cut after some persuasion from husband Mark Adderley and their children.

The wolf cut is a trendy, unisex hairstyle merging 70s shag, 80s mullet, and modern, voluminous, choppy layers, typically featuring shorter, intense volume at the crown and longer, tapered ends.

Nadia joined Charlene White, Oti Mabuse and Jane Moore on the panel on Thursday (January 29) and showed off her new trim for the first time.

The former EastEnders actress revealed she asked her friend Simone to sort out her “old lady” hair and was delighted with her new “ultra trendy” wolf cut.

Nadia has previously spoken openly about her hair loss, revealing her famous curls are often extensions or wigs due to perimenopause and genetics, a condition she discussed emotionally in 2017. Her hair changed and thinned after having children.

It comes after the ITV star announced the death of her daughters’ “second mum” and family nanny.

Nadia said “I love how much they loved you” as she paid an emotional tribute to Pat. who supported the Sawalha family for “over a decade”.

She explained how Pat became like a “second mum” to her and her husband Mark Adderley’s children, Maddie, 23, and Kiki, 18, in the heartfelt post.

It’s been a difficult for weeks for Nadia, who lost her close friend Hannah Gardner due to breast cancer in December.

The TV personality fought back tears as she paid tribute to her ‘brave and selfless’ friend on an episode of Loose Women a few weeks ago.

Hannah, who died aged 39, 13 years after first being diagnosed with cancer, had often appeared on the ITV daytime show to speak about her long illness battle.

Addressing Hannah’s death for the first time on TV, Nadia opened up on her memories of her first meeting with her friend on a charity trek.
