Patriots Reveal Uniform Color Combo for Super Bowl 60 vs. Seahawks in Photo as Designated Home Team

The New England Patriots will wear their all-white uniforms when they clash with the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8.

According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, the Pats had their choice of what unis they would wear since they were designated the home team, and they chose to go with white jerseys and white pants.

The Pats are set to play in their 12th Super Bowl, and if they beat the Seahawks, they will break a tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most wins in Super Bowl history with seven.

Last week, the Patriots wore their white-on-white uniforms with silver helmets, and the combo served them well, as they went on the road and beat the Denver Broncos 10-7 in the AFC Championship Game.

The contest was a struggle for both teams, as they battled tough defenses and even tougher weather in the second half, but New England persevered despite a less-than-stellar performance from the offense.

Second-year quarterback Drake Maye is an NFL MVP finalist, but he hasn’t been at his best during the playoffs, completing 55.8 percent of his passes for 533 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions, while also rushing for 141 yards and one score in three games.

Despite Maye performing well below the standards he set during the regular season, the Patriots still managed to win the AFC thanks largely to a defense that is allowing just 8.7 points per game during the playoffs.

In Super Bowl LX, the Patriots will face their toughest test yet, however. Not only did the Seahawks have the No. 1 scoring defense in the NFL during the regular season, but they are also averaging 36 points scored per contest in two playoff games.

Super Bowl LX will be a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, which took place 11 years ago and saw Tom Brady and the Patriots beat Russell Wilson and the Seahawks 28-24.

The game is famous for Wilson getting intercepted by Malcolm Butler at the goal line in the closing seconds, which denied Seattle back-to-back Super Bowl wins.

While the cast of characters is entirely different, the Seahawks will be out for revenge when they meet the Pats at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
