LEGENDARY actress Catherine O’Hara has died at the age of 71.
The Home Alone and Schitt’s Creek star passed away on Friday, her manager confirmed to People.

TMZ also confirmed the shocking news.
A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Catherine skipped the Golden Globes awards on January 11, despite receiving a nomination for Best Supporting Performance in a Female Actor for her role in the Apple+ series, The Studio.
Her nomination was announced in December, but it wasn’t clear why she didn’t attend the ceremony.

Tributes to the star immediately flooded social media.
“RIP Catherine O’ Hara. I know John Candy greeted her with open arms.”, one fan said.
Another added on X: “Catherine O’Hara was an absolute genius for the entirety of her career.”She will be terribly missed.”
A third commented: “Catherine O’Hara will be remembered most as the mom in the first two Home Alone movies
