Saturday’s NC State-Wake Forest men’s basketball game moved up due to winter weather

The NC State men’s basketball team is scheduled to play earlier on Saturday on the road against Wake Forest due to expected snow.
Tipoff is now scheduled for noon ET Saturday at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC State and Wake Forest announced.
The game will be available on ACC Network Extra, a streaming channel available through the ESPN app.
The game was initially scheduled for 3:45 p.m. ET Saturday.
Parts of central North Carolina are expected to see several inches of snow over the weekend with the heaviest snow expected to fall from Saturday afternoon to Saturday evening.
NC State (15-6 overall, 6-2 in the ACC) is seeking its fourth consecutive ACC win. Wake Forest (11-10, 2-6) has lost three straight games.
Wake Forest said it would reschedule Rodney Rogers Day for March 7 when the school hosts California. Rogers, a former Wake Forest standout and Durham native, died in November.
The replica Rodney Rogers jersey giveaway for the first 1,000 Wake Forest students will still take place at this Saturday’s game against NC State, while all other Rodney Rogers Day activations will shift to the March 7 game.
Rogers, a Durham native, died in November 2025. He was 54.
