Liv Morgan wins the Royal Rumble

WWE hit Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for its annual Royal Rumble premium live event today (Sat., Jan. 31, 2026) and the show started with the first of two Royal Rumble matches, featuring the crowning of the next top contender to one of the two top women’s titles.
The match was largely rushed, and many of the eliminations lacked any kind of weight to them. They saved the two big surprises for the final two spots, with Brie Bella and Tiffany Stratton making their respective returns.
Lash Legend got a strong run, with five eliminations before she was tossed late by Rhea Ripley. Raquel Rodriguez followed that by tossing Ripley, only to be turned on by her Judgment Day stablemate Liv Morgan, leaving a final three of Morgan, Sol Ruca, and the freshly returned Stratton.
In the end, a high stakes battle on the apron played out between all three, with Ruca making a high risk play and losing for it when Stratton blocked her and Morgan capitalizing after to toss Stratton and win the match.
Liv Morgan is going to WrestleMania.
