Man United fans have their say on Amad’s true transfer value after breakthrough season

Amad Diallo was signed by Manchester United in 2021 and his five years with the Red Devils has seen his transfer value rise drastically.

This season, Amad Diallo has two goals and three assists to his name, but his importance in this Manchester United side has grown exponentially.

Former head coach Ruben Amorim saw Amad as the ‘perfect’ wing-back, and the 23-year-old enjoyed a very strong first half of the season out on the right flank.

WHERE will Amad play for Manchester United under the next manager?

Solskjaer tipped him to be a superstar back in 2021…🔮

Now under Michael Carrick, Amad has returned from AFCON and slotted in as a right winger, and it seems as though he has nailed down a spot in the starting XI.

Amad was signed for £19m back in 2021 under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tenure, and the 23-year-old is now starting to fulfil his exciting potential.

When asked what Amad is worth in 2026, one reader wrote: “£70 million.”

Another added: “He’s easily worth £80m in today’s market, but United could demand £100m. He’s going to get better.”

Two readers suggested Amad was worth “£120m” and £68m”, while others clearly do not want to see him leave, writing: “£500m+. The kid is going to be a superstar. Need to give him a new, long-term contract with a £500m+ buy-out.

“We have some fantastic players coming through, Amad, Mbueno and Cunha are the future. We need to go all out to keep Bruno, he is a club legend and deserves to finish his career at the club.”

Amad must be untouchable at Man United

Transfer success stories have been hard to come by at United over the past decade, so Amad’s success should be cherished.

United scouted Amad as a young talent at Atalanta and he has blossomed into one of the Premier League’s most exciting stars.

Despite United’s rich depth in attack, with Bryan Mbeumo, Mason Mount, Matheus Cunha and Amad all competing for spots, he should be considered untouchable in this squad.

Amad’s contract does not expire until 2030, and even then the club has an option to extend by another year.

There is absolutely no pressure to sell anytime soon, and United should be keeping hold of the winger.
