Lola Young’s ‘Messy’ wins Best Pop Solo Performance

Although she missed out on Best New Artist earlier in the night, Lola Young is clearly thrilled to have beaten huge stars including Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber to win Best Pop Solo Performance.

“I don’t know what I’m going to say because I don’t have anything prepared,” says Young with delight. “Obviously I don’t, it’s messy!”

Her audio is then cut as she swears a couple of times before apologizing profusely.

Lady Gaga wins Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem, topping a star-studded category that also included Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus, and Teddy Swims.

“I’ve been making music since I was a little girl, and every time I’m up here I have to pinch myself,” says Gaga, accepting the award, before effusively thanking her collaborators Andrew Watt and Cirkut who are onstage with her.

Lady Gaga takes the stage for a high-energy rendition of her hit 2025 single “Abracadabra.”

The song has already won a couple of Grammys tonight during the pre-televised ceremony: Gaga won for Best Dance Pop Recording, while Gesaffelstein won Best Remix for his version.

It’s also up for both Song and Record of the Year.

Bad Bunny says ‘ICE out’ as he wins Best Música Urbana Album

After winning the Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny takes the stage and declares: “Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say ICE OUT.”

“We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans,” he continues in an impassioned speech.

“I know it’s tough not to hate these days… The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love… we have to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love.”

Justin Bieber strips down for Grammys performance

Justin Bieber has taken the idea of a ‘stripped down’ performance to its logical conclusion, performing alone in his boxer shorts on the Grammys stage while accompanying himself on his 2025 single “Yukon” using sampling pedals.

“What a captivating performance,” says host Trevor Noah at the conclusion. “The feeling in the room was amazing.”

Rising British star Olivia Dean wins Best New Artist before delivering a tearful speech.

“Thank you!” she stammers, before thanking her team and family.

“I’m up here as the granddaughter of an immigrant,” she continues.

“I wouldn’t be here…” she begins, before she’s drowned out by cheers.

“I’m a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated,” she adds. “We’re nothing without each other.”

Her win comes in a strong category that also included Addison Rae, Katseye, The Marías, sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren and Lola Young, who all performed live.

Kendrick Lamar makes history with Best Rap Album win

Kendrick Lamar keeps it short and sweet while accepting the first televised Grammy of the night for Best Rap Album for GNX.

“I’m not good at talking about myself, but I express it through the music,” says the Compton-native before shouting out his fellow nominees including Clipse. “Hip-hop is always gonna be right here,” he says, referring to the Grammys stage.

Lamar becomes the most-awarded rapper in Grammys history. He now has 26, one more than Jay-Z’s 25.
