Could Bears steal away Packers QB coach target?

The Green Bay Packers might have competition for a potential quarterbacks coach target. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Chicago Bears would like to interview Connor Senger — who already interviewed with the Packers — for the team’s open offensive coordinator position.
The Packers and Buffalo Bills both interviewed Stenger, who is currently the Arizona Cardinals’ pass game specialist, for open quarterbacks coach jobs. Obviously, Ben Johnson and the Bears could offer a better opportunity if they decide Stenger is the right coach to replace Declan Doyle at offensive coordinator.

Senger, who worked with Packers defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon in Arizona, has been with the Cardinals since 2022. He was an assistant quarterbacks coach in 2024 and the passing game coordinator in 2025.
The Packers are attempting to replace Sean Mannion, who left to become the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator after just one season as the team’s quarterbacks coach.
Senger, 30, grew up in Milwaukee, played collegiately at Wisconsin and UW-Oshkosh and coached at UW-Oshkosh, Carroll and UW-Whitewater before entering the NFL.
