With a 4-2 aggregate win against Chelsea, Arsenal secured its place in the Carabao Cup final, where the Premier League leader will face Manchester City or Newcastle United.
The tournament’s winner will be decided at Wembley Stadium on March 22, with Arsenal hoping to win this silverware for the first time since 1993. The Gunners have lost in the final more than any other club, finishing runner-up six times – most recently in 2018.
Manchester City takes a 2-0 lead into the second leg of the other semifinal against Newcastle, hosting the return leg on Thursday, Feb. 4. City has won this cup five times in the past 10 years and their eight all-time wins are second only to Liverpool’s 10.
