Jorge Lendeborg Jr. Replaces Danny Ramirez

“The Last of Us” has found its new Manny.

Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”) has joined Season 3 of the HBO drama, taking over the role from Danny Ramirez after he had to be recast due to scheduling issues.

Clea DuVall (“Argo,” “But I’m a Cheerleader”) also joins “The Last of Us” as a Seraphite, a member of an antagonistic cult.

“The Last of Us” is based on the popular post-apocalyptic video games of the same name. The series is co-created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann (who co-created the games). Both served as co-showrunners for the first two seasons of the HBO series, but Mazin will helm the upcoming third season on his own following Druckmann’s departure.

The cast of Season 3 is led by Bella Ramsey as Ellie and Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, while returning stars include Isabela Merced (Dina), Gabriel Luna (Tommy), Young Mazino (Jesse), Tati Gabrielle (Nora), Ariela Barer (Mel), Spencer Lord (Owen) and Jeffrey Wright (Isaac).

“The Last of Us” debuted in January 2023 and received a third season renewal before the 2025 release of Season 2. The show is co-produced by HBO and Sony Pictures Television. Executive producing alongside Mazin and Druckmann are Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan and Evan Wells; with writer/co-executive producer Halley Gross. PlayStation Productions, Word Games, Mighty Mint and Naughty Dog also produce.

Lendeborg Jr. is repped by Verve, Mosaic and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller. DuVall is repped by UTA.
