ATP Montpellier Day 3 Predictions Including Stan Wawrinka vs Hamad Medjedovic

Despite always being played the week after the Australian Open, the ATP 250 Montpellier always provides some high quality indoor attacking tennis and this year has been no exception so far. Day 3 will feature some very intriguing matchups, including last year’s finalist making his debut, an all-French matchup and Stan Wawrinka playing this tournament for the last time.
ATP Montpellier Day 3 Predictions
Moise Kouame vs Aleksandar Kovacevic
Head-to-head: first meeting
Kovacevic played arguably the best tournament of his career at this venue last year, beating Andrey Rublev in the semis and only losing the final to Felix Auger-Aliassime in the third set tiebreak. He will be hoping for another strong run this year and, at least on paper, he got a very kind first round draw against the World #551 and should prevail here.
Prediction: Kovacevic in 2
Ugo Humbert vs Adrian Mannarino
Head-to-head: Mannarino 2-1 Humbert
Although Mannarino leads the head-to-head, at this point in their respective careers Humbert is definitely the better player of the two, and indoor hard courts is where he tends to play his best tennis. He is one of the favorites to hoist the trophy on Sunday and if all goes according to normal he should be able to advance here.
Prediction: Humbert in 2
Stan Wawrinka vs Hamad Medjedovic
Head-to-head: first meeting
After an excellent run at the Australian Open, Wawrinka continues his farewell tour in Montpellier; he will certainly be looking to add at least one final title to his collection in 2026 ,and these smaller 250 events provide the best opportunity to do so on paper. Medjedovic is far from an easy opponent, but he is an opponent that Wawrinka will certainly fancy his chances against. All in all, it should be quite a close match, dominated by the serve, with the winner decided by a few key points and maybe even tiebreaks.
Prediction: Wawrinka in 3
