Former Vice President Kamala Harris postpones Columbia stop on book tour

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A Columbia stop for former Vice President Kamala Harris on her book tour is being postponed.

She made the announcement Tuesday on social media.

Harris was scheduled to appear at the Township Auditorium for an event with All Good Books on Thursday, dubbed “A Conversation with Kamala Harris.”

The former vice president also pushed back dates on other stops on the tour this week in Greensboro, Charlotte and Savannah.

In a post on X, Harris said each venue will be in touch soon with rescheduled dates.

“Stay safe, stay warm, and I will see you out there,” she wrote.

The tour is in support of her book, “107 Days,” chronicling Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign that began after former President Joe Biden chose not to seek re-election.
