Grizzlies barely have enough players vs Kings after Jaren Jackson Jr. trade

SACRAMENTO, California — An eight-player trade provided a major shakeup to the Memphis Grizzlies’ roster.
The Grizzlies traded Jaren Jackson Jr., Jock Landale, Vince Williams Jr. and John Konchar to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Kyle Anderson, Walter Clayton Jr., Taylor Hendricks and Georges Niang plus three first-round picks. With all of the moving parts, it’s easy to forget that Memphis has a game Feb. 4 against the Sacramento Kings (9 p.m. CT, FanDuel Sports Network) at Golden 1 Center.
None of the incoming players from the Jazz are expected to be available for Memphis. Konchar, Jackson, Williams and Landale were four of the Grizzlies’ healthy players, so Memphis will be shorthanded against the Kings.
The team did get a boost with Santi Aldama being upgraded to questionable due to right knee injury management. Scotty Pippen Jr., who hasn’t played this season, was also upgraded to doubtful (left great toe surgery recovery).
Zach Edey and Brandon Clarke remain out with injuries, meaning Memphis won’t have any centers available.
Here’s a list of the players Memphis could have available to play. NBA teams must have at least eight players for a game. The Grizzlies could have as many as 11.
Jahmai Mashack and Javon Small are not out with injuries, but the team could opt to hold them out because players on two-way contracts are limited to 50 games of availability.
