Thunder vs. Spurs: Live updates, highlights for Wednesday’s game

The Oklahoma City Thunder will travel on the road to face the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. This will be the fifth matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC lost the first three before it collected a revenge win on Jan. 13.
The Thunder (40-11) enjoyed a stress-free 128-92 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 20 points and nine assists. Isaiah Hartenstein logged his first career triple-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Meanwhile, the Spurs (33-16) collected a 112-103 win over the Magic on Sunday. Victor Wembanyama had 25 points and eight rebounds. De’Aaron Fox tallied 14 points and 10 assists.

The offense has been awesome considering the personnel. Wiggins has 20 points. Williams has 20 points and 10 rebounds. The Thunder are 40% from 3. But the Spurs have been equally efficient. Johnson has 25 points off the bench. Wembanyama has scored timely buckets. Still within reach, but time is running out.
Wiggins has stepped up as OKC’s best scorer. He got to this within 10 points after an off-dribble 3-pointer. He has 16 points to lead the Thunder. But the Spurs got it back to a decent lead. Wembanyama has 11 points and six rebounds.
Wembanyama blocks Williams’ pull-up 3-pointer. He then gets the mismatch with Wallace. Fed the easy layup. Thunder call a timeout. It’s getting ugly.
You can tell that this is a group that has seldom played together. Wiggins and Williams have a combined 17 points, but that’s about it. Meanwhile, Johnson has gotten off to a hot start with 12 points to put the Spurs ahead.
These types of hospital games are somewhat fun because they put guys in spots they’re usually not at. You saw Wallace make a mid-range jumper. Wiggins pull up deep from the outside. Spurs call a timeout.
The Thunder will start Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, Kenrich Williams and Jaylin Williams. The Spurs will start De’Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie and Victor Wembanyama.
