Michelle Keegan’s baby Palma looks cute as a button with first ponytail

There is nothing cuter than when a baby starts to grow a little hair. Palma Wright, the daughter of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright, looked as cute as a button on Thursday evening when Fool Me Once star Michelle shared a snapshot of her daughter’s little ponytail, with her blonde hair styled in an adorable tuft on top of her head.

What made the picture even more delightful was the little pink bow it was secured with. Michelle playfully quipped, “Haters gonna say it’s extensions”, a humorous nod to social media comments. For privacy reasons, Mark and Michelle have opted to keep Palma’s face off social media, but it’s lovely to see subtle updates like this.

Palma’s first year

Palma was born on 6 March 2025, with her parents announcing Michelle’s pregnancy with a bump photo on social media. “2025 is going to be a special one for us…,” she captioned the post in December 2024, which saw the couple on a beach in coordinating white outfits.

Palma will turn one in March

The pair announced the arrival of their baby girl with a message that read: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl. Palma Elizabeth Wright. 06.03.25,” alongside a black and white photo of their newborn wearing a crochet hat.

Mark’s admiration for ‘superhero’ wife

Although Michelle hasn’t spoken publicly about her foray into motherhood, husband Mark has been a little more vocal. Shortly after Palma’s birth, the proud dad told fellow Heart Radio Breakfast Show host Olly Murs about his experience of fatherhood thus far. He told his co-star, “Mate, it’s actually hard to put into words. It’s the biggest achievement of my life. It’s all I think about, but obviously, hats go off to my wife. She is an absolute superhuman, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.”

Mark continued: “It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had for what women had to go through.

“It’s the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face.”
