Five travel routes will be subject to closures or timetable changes this weekend (February 7-8), Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed. This is down to a mix of track, engineering, and Network Rail works taking place across the capital.
The Tube has escaped fairly unscathed, with only the Northern line skipping a whole section of its route on both Saturday and Sunday. Overnight services are also missing a stop on the Jubilee line.
The Windrush line is to be impacted the most, including during Night Overground hours. Trains will not be running in parts of Southwark, Lewisham, and Wandsworth.
TfL bosses have also issued a travel warning ahead of a two-week closure on the Tram network in South London – find out more below. Here’s everything you need to know:

Major Tram disruption incoming

A two-week programme of upgrades will shut parts of the Tram network for a fortnight later this month, TfL has announced. Engineers are carrying out track renewal work at Sandilands Junction, and between Gravel Hill and Addington Village, from Wednesday, February 11, to Wednesday, February 25.
As such, there will be no service from East Croydon to Beckenham Junction, Elmers End or New Addington during this time. Replacement buses will operate between East Croydon and Beckenham Junction via Elmers End, and between East Croydon and New Addington.
These will serve all Tram stops except for Lebanon Road, which is less than 500 metres from Sandilands. The work will make journeys “more reliable” and reduce the rusk of future disruption, TfL said.
Mark Davis, general manager for London Trams, added: “We recognise the disruption this closure may cause and are sorry for any inconvenience. These works are essential to maintain a safe, reliable network.
“Renewing the track now will improve tram performance in the long term, helping to reduce the risk of defects and unplanned service disruption. We’ve timed the works to coincide with the school half-term to reduce the impact, and we’re providing alternative transport options and clear travel advice to help customers plan ahead.” Trams will continue to run as normal between East Croydon and Wimbledon.
