Ladson area feels effects of 3.2 magnitude earthquake

LADSON, S.C. (WCSC) — The U.S. Geological Survey has confirmed that an earthquake shook the Ladson area on Saturday night.
The agency reported the earthquake was a 3.2 magnitude and occurred 4.7 miles from Ladson just before 10:40 p.m. Other areas that felt the tremors included Summerville, Hanahan, Goose Creek and Columbia.
The earthquake is reported to have had a depth of 10 kilometers and comes days after a 2.3 magnitude earthquake in the Summerville area.
No injuries have been reported.
