Winter Olympics 2026: Ester Ledecka is chasing the triple-double: It’s all about energy

2 sports and 2 podiums in 2026
Two sports, two podiums, two different countries in the space of a week.
When it comes to Milano Cortina 2026 preparation, there is no balancing act quite like Ledecka’s, but she arrives at the Winter Olympics in good form.
On 18 January, she finished third in the World Cup Super-G event in Tarvisio, Italy, before making the trip to Simonhohe, Austria, for the snowboard PGS.
There she topped the podium, in what was her first race in that discipline since the 2025 World Championships, where she won a third world title – eight years after collecting her second.
Make no mistake: she is the woman to beat in the PGS at Livigno Snow Park on Sunday (8 February).
