CCTV appeal after ‘several hundred pounds’ fraud at Birmingham store

A Birmingham shop was defrauded out of several hundreds of pounds, police have said.

The incident happened at a store in Harborne on December 30 last year.

West Midlands Police did not share exact details of the fraud, but have shared CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to.

It is thought that the pair could have information about what happened.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Do you recognise these two?

“We need to speak to them in connection with a fraud totalling several hundred pounds at a store in Harborne.

“It happened on 30 December last year.

“We’ve made a number of enquiries to identify the pair, and now need the public’s help to identify them.”

Officers have asked that anyone with information get in touch as soon as possible.

They added: “Anyone with information has been asked to get in touch via 101, quoting 20/110165/26.”
