Super Bowl LX will be a face-off between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.
Who is expected to win the Feb. 8 game? Sports analysts have their predictions. In this article, tarot readers and astrologers will make theirs.
The majority of readers and experts believe the winner will be the Seahawks, which makes sense because the team have an auspicious chart with natal Jupiter (the planet of luck) aspecting the karmic north node of destiny.
But it’s not so cut and dry: Others see a more obvious Patriots victory.

In terms of astrology, we looked at:
- The event chart of Super Bowl 60, using the game’s kickoff time.
- The Aquarius sun and the Scorpio moon, and the effect those two significant placements have on various aspects of the game, as well as the transiting north node of destiny in Pisces.
- The natal charts of star players and coaches for both teams.
- The natal charts of when the teams were founded.
Tarot readers pulled cards for prominent players, like Sam Darnold (Seahawks’ QB) and Drake Maye (Patriots’ QB).
What Do Astrologers Predict About Seahawks v. Patriots?
Astrologer Fernando Salinas sees a Patriots victory — but it “won’t be easy.”
“The Lot of Fortune, a point in the sky that represents good luck and success, will be in Taurus and opposing Scorpio, meaning that the victory won’t be easy. The Patriots are going to have to call on all of their famed wildcard energy, spurred on by the rebellious Venus Uranus square earlier that day, to make it happen. While the Seahawks could still make the right plays and make their own good fortune, the stars seem to be in favor of the Patriots winning,” she said.
Astrologer Liz Simmons, meanwhile, looked at the daily transits of the Aquarius sun and Scorpio moon to predict her pick – and it’s the Seahawks.
“I think the Patriots are coming into the Super Bowl as the obviously stronger team given their Super Bowl track record and recent wins; however, I think the Seahawks may pull out an unexpected win despite facing greater odds,” she said.
Astrologer Renee Watt also sees the Seahawks being victorious.
“The Seahawks will embrace creative strategies, implementing colorful yet deceptive plays that will throw the Patriots for a loop. They’ll move with a light-heartedness and genuine sportsmanship we might not see in their opponents. In the midst of a Chiron return, the universe is giving them an opportunity to heal from past disappointments within the public eye. Breakthrough moments will come at unexpected intervals throughout the day, increasing their odds of winning this year’s Super Bowl,” Watt said.
What Do Tarot Readers Predict About Seahawks v. Patriots?
Tarot readers are mixed, but are leaning toward a Seahawks win.
Tarot reader Sarah Potter predicted a Seahawks victory, pulling the Three of Cups, the High Priestess and the Nine of Pentacles for the team. “The spread feels celebratory, confident and steady. These cards carry the energy of trust, alignment and strong teamwork,” she said.
For the Patriots, she pulled the Nine of Wands, the King of Cups and the Seven of Pentacles reversed, which “points to resilience, but also frustration around where effort is being placed.”
“There’s a sense of pushing through on experience and steadiness, without the clear forward momentum you’d expect in a winning spread,” she said.
Tarot reader Theresa Reed pulled the Three of Pentacles, the card of teamwork, for the Seahawks. “Their skill, strategy and impeccable teamwork bring recognition. While hard work is involved, this card shows a happy payoff and pride in their accomplishment,” she said.
Tarot reader Marguerite Recupero, meanwhile, sees the Patriots pulling through. She pulled the King of Cups in the reversed position for the Seahawks and the Ace of Wands reversed, the card of momentum and new beginnings, for the Patriots.
“At first it may appear that the Seahawks will win. But the Patriots are going to be channeling the Ace of Wands. No one thought they could do it, and a lot of people would love to see them lose, but they’ll come out the victor,” she said.
Tarot reader Sonia Ortiz sees a game that is neck-and-neck: “It’s possible the Seahawks will win but New England is going to make it very hard.”
Tarot reader Kelly G. Beauvais made her prediction after pulling four cards for each team: “The Seahawks will win but this game will be one you’ve never seen before!” Among her reasoning is the Four of Pentacles, stability, for the Seahawks, meaning “control over the ball” and a “game won by the defense.” On the Patriots’ end, she sees “emotions will run high” because of the Knight of Cups.
