Alternate Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show Gets ‘Rude Awakening’

Super Bowl 60 will feature two different halftime shows.

Bad Bunny will be headlining the Super Bowl 60 halftime show inside of Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Meanwhile, Kid Rock will be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show put on by Turning Point USA.

“The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said.

“We set out to provide an entertainment option that will be fun, excellent, and exciting for the entire family while millions are gathered together for the big game. These performers will deliver exactly that, and we can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on. We know millions around the country will be watching too.”

But while more than 100 million people will be watching Bad Bunny on Sunday night, how many will be watching Kid Rock and Co.?

Anyone thinking a big number is coming for the alternate Super Bowl 60 halftime show is getting hit with a “rude awakening” on Sunday.

Alternate Super Bowl 60 halftime show gets bad news

Unlike in 1992, when a live “In Living Color” episode on Fox drew 20-25 million viewers from the Super Bowl halftime on CBS, the same won’t be true in 2026.

Back in 1992, fans could just simply change the channel from Fox to CBS. But this year, fans won’t be able to change the channel from NBC to the alternate halftime show.

The alternate halftime show will be airing on Turning Point USA’s YouTube channel and other outlets. It won’t be easy to find.

“I dont have to work hard to avoid it,” one fan wrote.

Will we see any major ratings battles on Sunday night?
