Watch Charlie Puth Sing Super Bowl National Anthem 2026

Before either the New England Patriots or the Seattle Seahawks win Super Bowl LX, Charlie Puth kicked off the big game with a performance of the National Anthem.

The singer delivered the performance in signature Puth style, singing a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem while playing the piano himself. Accompanied by an extraordinary band, the “One Call Away” singer hit all the right notes, as joint Navy and Air Force aircrafts flew atop Levi’s Stadium to close out the pre-game show.

Bad Bunny will perform in the highly anticipated Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, while Puth joined a list a pre-show performers including Coco Jones (who sang “Lift Every Voice and Sing”), Brandi Carlile (with a rendition of “America the Beautiful”) and Green Day, who led the pre-game performance list.

The Super Bowl is typically a star-studded affair, and this year is no different. Celebrities showed up in a number of ads, including everyone from Sabrina Carpenter for Pringles or Emma Stone for Squarespace, in between commercials breaks. Plenty celebrities were at Levi’s Stadium to celebrate the big game, including Jay-Z, Adam Sandler, Travis Kelce Travis Scott, Keke Palmer, Jon Bon Jovi, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, 21 Savage, Tracy Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe, Rob Lowe, Russell Wilson, Ciara and J Balvin, among others.

In September, the “We Don’t Talk Anymore” singer teased a shift in his upcoming music in conversation The Hollywood Reporter.

“I can’t share when, but I do plan on putting music out soon. And when it does come out, I feel like a lot of question marks are going to be answered,” he said before his new song “Beat Yourself Up” dropped mid-January. “[There will be] a lot of things that I haven’t sung about. Life for me is much different than it was 10 years ago when ‘One Call Away’ or ‘See You Again’ came out, so there’s some things to say.
