Social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) is seemingly down for thousands of users worldwide. The latest report on the popular website and issue tracker downdetector.com records thousands of complaints from users worldwide. This issue is reportedly persistent both on the mobile application across Android and iOS, as well as on the web version of the Elon Musk-owned platform.
Multiple users are complaining that they cannot access their accounts or make/view any tweets. Many other comments across forums like Reddit have confirmed that none of the posts on their feed are loading, with continuous error messages when opening links.
As of writing, the platform has not issued any statement or clarification as to what caused this outage. A server issue may have affected the popular social media platform, resulting in this widespread disruption. Social media users will have to wait for an update from the platform to see when the servers are up and running again.
