Netflix is giving the best Valentine’s gift for its many, many subscribers — a library full of hit movies and TV shows to binge-watch. ‘Night at the Museum’ (2006)

Two decades ago, Ben Stiller kicked off a comedic fantasy trilogy with Night at the Museum. Stiller plays Larry Daley, a divorced father whose luck finally seems to be improving when he’s hired as a security guard for the American Museum of Natural History in New York. On his first day, Larry discovers that Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams) and other figures at the museum come to life at night thanks to an ancient Egyptian artifact.

When Larry attempts to share the secret with his son, Nick (Jake Cherry), the father-and-son duo stumble across a plot to rob the museum of its greatest treasure. That’s more than they can handle by themselves. Luckily, they aren’t alone in the museum, and the historical figures won’t go down without a fight.

‘Copshop’ (2021)

Copshop may have hit theaters at the wrong time, because this action thriller feels like it would have gotten a better response outside of the pandemic era. Gerard Butler leads the cast as Robert K. Viddick, an assassin working for the mob who is out to kill Teddy Murretto (Frank Gillo). And when Teddy decides that the best place to hide is behind bars, Robert fearlessly gets himself arrested as well.

Although Netflix recently had to say goodbye to Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Mad Max: Fury Road with Charlize Theron, the streamer has loaded up on action movies to kick off the new year. One of the most intriguing additions is Stone Cold Fox, an action thriller that flew under the radar in limited release […]

Rookie police officer Valerie Young (Alexis Louder) doesn’t know what she’s gotten herself into. She brought these two men to jail, but only one of them is likely to survive their face-off. Valerie’s more pressing concern is that she may not live through the bloodbath to come, and Robert isn’t the only stone-cold killer coming to take out Teddy. Valerie doesn’t have any place she can run as the precinct erupts in violence, so she’ll have to fight back if she wants to live.

If there’s a lesson at the heart of Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, it’s this one: don’t use Craigslist as a dating app. Mike (Adam DeVine) and Dave (Zac Efron) don’t have any better ideas, but their stunt only attracts the wrong kind of attention from Alice Davis (Anna Kendrick) and Tatiana Darcy (Aubrey Plaza).

Alice and Tatiana aren’t actually interested in dating Mike and Dave, but a destination wedding in Hawaii is too good for them to pass up. After conning the brothers into taking them along, Tatiana and Alice unleash chaos in the wedding party and threaten to accidentally break up the happy couple, Jeanie (Sugar Lyn Beard) and Eric (Sam Richardson), before they can walk down the aisle and exchange vows.
