First comes Deadpool, then comes Elsa Bloodstone: the redheaded gunslinger joins the cast of Marvel Rivals this Friday, February 13.
As the second character of Season 6, Elsa is a Duelist focused on getting in and out of fights quickly. Her moveset lets her dash around the battlefield, trap enemies, and fire cluster bombs that rain down from above. Her burst pistol and rifle let her switch between mid and long range, and her cooldowns reduce the longer she’s alive to build up Instinct. And when it comes to her Ultimate, she summons the Glatrox demon to rush enemies and throw them into the air so she can finish them off with her guns.
Debuting in 2001’s Bloodstone #1 from Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, Elsa Bloodstone is the daughter of already established Ulysses Bloodstone and frequently appears in Marvel’s supernatural scene. She’s popped up as a member of Nextwave, the Midnight Sons, and the Avengers and is an expert marksman with superhuman abilities and an immunity to vampire bites. MCU heads will likely remember her from the Werewolf by Night series, where she was played by Laura Donnelly.
