Georgia basketball will face No. 14 Florida without its leading scorer.

Guard Jeremiah Wilkinson is listed as out for the game on Wednesday Feb. 11, according to the SEC Availability Report released on Tuesday night.

A team spokesman said Wilkinson is dealing with shoulder soreness, but has no structural damage. He’s expected to “be back soon.”

Wilkinson averages 17.1 points per game and leads the team with 52 3-pointers and 41 steals.

Georgia was listed as a 7 ½ point underdog for the Florida game, according to BetMGM.com.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Wilkinson, a sophomore transfer from Cal, averages 16.9 points per game in SEC play. He’s shooting 37.7% on field goals in league play and 31.6% on 3s.

Wilkinson has started 21 of 23 games.

Guard Justin Bailey started in place of Wilkinson for two games early in the season.

Bailey averages 4.8 points a game in 13.3 minutes a game with 23 3-pointers.
