Sebastian Baez and Camilo Ugo Carabelli met four times in 2025, with three of those clashes going the distance — all on clay. Carabelli arrives fresh off a Challenger title last week, while Baez was dominant in his opening round. It’s not an easy one to call, but Carabelli looks slightly more assured in his game right now and ready to pounce if the match gets tight.

Luciano Darderi vs Pedro Martinez

Luciano Darderi has started 2026 strongly, reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open and backing it up with a dominant win here. With his serve bringing more free points, expect Darderi to take control and dictate most of the baseline rallies.

Backed by the Argentine crowd and his clean, aggressive ball-striking, Cerundolo should have enough quality to progress to the last four.
