Unrivaled 2026 Scores and Top Highlights from Wednesday’s 1 vs. 1 Bracket

Unrivaled held the first round of its 1-on-1 tournament Wednesday night, with some of the top women’s basketball players in the world squaring off.
The quarterfinals will also be held on Friday, with the semifinals and final to follow on Saturday. You can see the full bracket here.
Below, we’ll track the evening’s scores and top highlights as a number of women advanced to Friday’s second round.
Chelsea Gray def. Natasha Cloud, 11-10
Gray drained all three of her attempts from deep in the comeback win, fending off Cloud’s upset attempt.
Breanna Stewart def. Li Yueru, 11-6
A workmanlike victory from Stewart, who shot 5-of-8 from the field in the win. She’ll face Aliyah Boston in the second round.
Sonia Citron def. Marina Mabrey, 12-10
Citron raced out to a 5-0 lead, Mabrey promptly scored the next 10 points and Citron responded with seven unanswered points in a see-saw battle.
Kelsey Mitchell def. Rachel Banham, 12-3
No issues for the top seed, who hit both of her three-point attempts and easily moved on to the next round.
Arike Ogunbowale def. Brittney Sykes, 11-2
Ogunbowale jumped out to a 9-0 lead and never looked back, missing just one shot in a dominant victory.
Aaliyah Edwards def. Dominique Malonga, 11-8
Malonga will want this one back after committing four turnovers in an 11-8 loss. She held Edwards to just 33.3 percent shooting (1-for-4 beyond the arc as well) but wasn’t able to finish the job despite opening the game on a 6-0 run.
Rae Burrell def. Rhyne Howard, 11-8
Burrell erased a seven-point deficit against Howard, finishing the game on an 11-1 run. She’ll face Citron in the second round.
Paige Bueckers def. Kate Martin, 12-5
No issues for the top seed in Pod B, who will face WNBA teammate Ogunbowale in the second round after defeating her Unrivaled teammate in the first round.
Shakira Austin def. Dearica Hamby, 12-10
This was a battle of attrition, as Austin blocked two shots and pulled down 10 boards in a hard-fought victory over Hamby. She’ll face Edwards in the second round.
Veronica Burton def. Courtney Williams, 11-0
Jackie Young def. Aziaha James, 12-4
Young ended the game on an 8-0 run, pulling down four offensive boards in the process. She’ll face Gray in the second round.
