How to Watch ‘WWE SmackDown’ on Syfy Channel Online Without Cable

WWE‘s Friday night institution is getting a temporary relocation during the Winter Olympics.

SmackDown has aired every Friday night on USA Network since 2024, but it’s moving for two weeks to Syfy Channel as USA switches its programming schedule to cover the Olympics.

The first episode of SmackDown on Syfy airs tonight, Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. ET with the second episode airing Feb. 20. The show returns to USA Network for the Feb. 27 airing.

Want to watch SmackDown on Syfy? You’ll need a cable package that includes the specialty channel in order to watch the wrestling show on TV. Don’t have cable? Here’s how to livestream the Friday night broadcast online.

Sling is a live streaming service that offers a live feed of 50+ television channels over the internet, including Syfy, as part of its Sling Orange & Blue plan. Normally $69.99/month, Sling’s current promotion brings the price of its Orange & Blue plan down by as much as 50%, with your first month starting at just $34.99. This is one of the best Sling streaming deals online right now considering the regular price of Sling Blue on its own is $54.99.

Use Sling to watch Friday Night SmackDown online on Syfy without needing cable. You’ll also have unlimited access to live channels like ESPN, Bravo, TNT, USA, CNN and more. Sling also has hundreds of on-demand TV shows and movies that rotate each month, so you’re never wanting for entertainment options.

Sling lets you stream on up to three devices at a time, and you can watch content on your phone, tablet, computer or smart TV (via the Sling app). Use Sling to livestream WWE SmackDown on Syfy for the next two weeks and keep it to continue watch SmackDown when it returns to USA Network later this month.

Tonight’s SmackDown broadcast airs live from Dallas and features Jade Cargill vs. Jordynne Grace for the WWE Women’s Championship title. The WWE Women’s Tag Titles will also be up for grabs, while qualification matches continue for the big Elimination Chamber event taking place Feb. 28 in Chicago. The show will no doubt also feature fallout from the recent Royal Rumble.

The Feb. 20 WWE SmackDown show takes place live from Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale and features superstars Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and more.

While SmackDown’s two-week move to Syfy Channel is due to the Olympics broadcast on USA Network, it isn’t entire unprecedented: the show aired on Syfy between 2010 and 2016.

Watch the show live online through Sling.
