Spurs’ Carter Bryant replaces Grizzlies’ Cedric Coward in 2026 Castrol Rising Stars

LOS ANGELES – San Antonio Spurs rookie forward Carter Bryant will replace injured Memphis Grizzlies rookie guard Cedric Coward on Team Vince in the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars, which tips off tonight at 9 p.m. ET at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., and streams on Peacock.

Bryant has appeared in 43 games this season.  Over his last five games, he is averaging 9.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 16.9 minutes.  The 6-6 Bryant will also compete in AT&T Slam Dunk tomorrow during NBA All-Star Saturday (5 p.m. ET, NBC and Peacock).

Coward is unable to participate in Castrol Rising Stars because of right knee soreness.  He earned his selection in a vote by NBA assistant coaches.

Bryant joins Team Vince, led by Vince Carter, one of four NBC Sports NBA analysts serving as honorary coaches for Castrol Rising Stars.  Team rosters and additional information are available here.
