Round One of the 2026 Betfred Super League is well underway, and the stage is set for Sunday’s clash with Wigan Warriors at the OneBore.
A big crowd awaits Ryan Carr and his new-look team, and there is more than ever to do on matchdays here at Cas as we celebrate our centenary season.
Doors open at 12 noon, with our brand-new Fan Zone ready for action, featuring drinks offers, exclusive food, a giant screen, and entertainment right up until kick-off. Ryan Carr has also confirmed that his team will arrive at the Arthur Atkinson gate between 1pm and 1.30pm where he will lead his team through the Fan Zone and into battle.
From 12 we have fairground rides, stilt walkers, face painters, and everyone’s favourite DJ Scott all in action.
At 1.30pm, we will be joined by local singing sensation Frankie Jay, and 2.15pm, all the non-playing members of the Cas squad will also head to the Fan Zone to meet fans for selfies and autographs.
At 2.25pm there will be a special Dance Through the Decades performance, brought to you by our Castleford Tigers Foundation.
DJ Danny Mylo will be pitchside thirty minutes before kick-off, building up the atmosphere, and as always, we will have an amazing performance from our dance team, Claws.
Finally, owner Martin Jepson and our brand new Vice-President, John Joyner, will enter the field and present the match ball to the referee.
