A look at the curling standings after Day 2 of competition

Men’s Curling
Through two sessions of play, Great Britain ended Day 2 of men’s curling competition on Thursday as the only 2-0 team.
Team GB sits alone atop the standings, with three teams — Canada, Italy, and Switzerland — close behind at 1-0.
Those four teams are the only ones going into Day 3 with records better than .500. Tied for 5th in the standings are Germany and Team USA, both sitting 1-1 through two games.
China, Czechia, and Norway are tied for 7th at 0-1.
The biggest surprise of the tournament so far is the team at the bottom of the standings: Sweden. The defending Olympic gold medalists and 2024 world championships are 0-2 so far in Cortina.
