Collin Morikawa reveals wife Katherine is pregnant after Pebble Beach win

Perhaps all Collin Morikawa needed was a little perspective.

The 29-year-old ended a winless drought that was going on 3 years, taking the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday with a closing birdie on the famous par-5 18th. His seventh PGA Tour title came with a $3.6 million pay day, and during his post-round interview, he dropped some incredible news with CBS’ Amanda Balionis.

Morikawa and his wife, Katherine, are expecting their first child. The couple shared an emotional embrace on the 18th green soon after the winning putt dropped.

“Put golf aside, we’re actually expecting later this year. We just started telling people this week. We said what a better way, the best way to announce to the world if I was able to come out and win. There’s so much to life, so much to enjoy. I’m hard on myself but I am just so thankful for the people around me, my team. Kat, my wife. My parents, my brother. I’m speechless right now.”

Katherine is an accomplished golfer herself, playing collegiately at Pepperdine. They’ve been married since Nov. 2022.
