Anthony Edwards hoists the Kia NBA All-Star Game MVP award after helping Team Stars win the Championship.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game debuted a brand new format — USA vs. World — helping create no shortage of drama and intrigue at the Intuit Dome on Sunday night.
What we know about the 75th NBA All-Star Game
- This year’s All-Star Game debuted a new format: USA vs. World
- World was unable to pick up a victory in either game, falling to Team Stars and Team Stripes, despite a dominant effort by Victor Wembanyama. Victor scored a combined 33 points and set the tone early for the evening with his efforts.
- Although they were ultimately unable to come out on top, Kawhi Leonard’s Game 3 performance against the World was epic. Playing in his home arena, Leonard dropped 31 points, including the game-clinching bucket on 11-for-13 shooting.
- Despite falling in Game 2 to Team Stripes, it was all Team Stars in the Championship Game, as Team Stripes struggled to find their legs and shot just 8-for-31 from the field.

Lead widens
Each of the first three games was a back-and-forth battle coming down to the final possession. However, Game 4 has seen the Stars dominate, and they’ve opened up a 26-9 lead with 6:02 to go.
The Stripes will be looking to get back into it, coming out of this recent timeout.
