Y2K ‘it’ jeans 7 For All Mankind are back and captivating Gen Z

NEW YORK — Here’s the scene: It’s the New York Fashion Week debut of beloved Y2K denim brand 7 For All Mankind. Chloë Sevigny is in the front row. There are models on the runway wearing skinny jeans and oversize sunglasses, or big, slouchy bags and coats, or black opaque tights and round-toe platform stilettos. A few are even draped in chunky statement necklaces. The soundtrack is pulsing with Madonna’s “Hung Up”: Time goes by so slowly for those who wait.
