2 victims in critical condition after triple stabbing at North York home: police

Toronto police say two victims remain in critical condition following a triple stabbing in North York on Monday night.

Police were called to a home on Plum Tree Way, near Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West, shortly before 10 p.m. for reports of “unknown trouble.”

When they arrived on scene, officers located multiple people with injuries, including three who had been stabbed.

In total, five adults were transported to hospital for treatment.

In an update on Tuesday morning, police confirmed that two people remain in hospital in critical condition and two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators also confirmed that a man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with the incident.

The victims and suspect were all known to each other prior to the attack, police said.
